1. Introduction 

At EAT, we strive to provide excellent service and high-quality food. This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, refunds, and how we handle related requests. By placing an order with us, you agree to this policy. 

2. Cancellation Policy 

  • Customer-Initiated Cancellations
  • In-Store Orders: Orders placed in-store are processed immediately. Once the order is placed, it cannot be canceled or modified. 
  • Phone or Online Orders: Orders placed via phone or online are also processed promptly. Due to the perishable nature of our products, cancellations are not accepted once an order has been confirmed and processed. 
  • Shop-Initiated Cancellations
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unforeseen circumstances, such as unavailability of items, operational issues, or incorrect pricing due to a technical error. In such cases, you will be notified immediately, and a full refund will be issued as per our refund policy. 

3. Refund Policy 

  • Eligibility for Refunds
  • Refunds are only issued under the following circumstances: 
  • The order was canceled by us due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  • There was a proven quality issue with the food (e.g., wrong item delivered, missing items, or food safety concerns). 
  • Delivery was not made within a reasonable time frame due to errors on our part, and the order is returned without being consumed. 
  • Non-Refundable Situations
  • Refunds will not be provided for: 
  • Orders that are canceled by the customer after being confirmed or prepared. 
  • Delays in delivery due to factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather conditions). 
  • Complaints raised after 24 hours of delivery or pickup. 
  • Incorrect address or contact details provided by the customer. 
  • Refund Process
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of receiving the order. Please contact us with your order details and a brief description of the issue. Supporting evidence, such as photos of the food or packaging, may be required to process the refund. 
  • Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used during the purchase. For cash payments, refunds will be issued in cash or as a store credit, depending on the situation. 
  • Refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider. 

4. Replacement Policy 

  • In cases where there is an issue with the quality of food, we may offer a replacement of the item rather than a refund. Replacement requests should be made immediately upon receiving the order to ensure prompt action.
